Overview
One of two dedicated Militarum training worlds in Eternum, Kasabian is a harsh planet filled with fortifications, empty hive towers, trenches, scholas and barracks. It is here the veteran regiments of Tetuanis and many other worlds train to better their combat skills, and Kasabian has forged elite officers as well thanks to its officer training scholas.
Training Program
Kasabian's training grounds provide an excellent crucible for green and veteran units alike to prepare for the rigors of combat, from line infantry to mechanized units, from stormtroopers to scions, even Inquisitors and their retinues train here to better prepare for fighting the enemies of Man. Although a barren world, Kasabian does have some native life that left unchecked forms dangerous hives, which units undergoing training are tasked to clear. Although not as dangerous as the true enemies of Mankind, these Zerogus hives are deadly for the unprepared, with spine shooting Hydraliks and ferocious clawed Zeroaches defending their hives. Hives also occasionally grow greater Zerogus lifeforms like Brutalisks, mammoth sized aliens with massive pincer claws that can tear open a Chimera with ease. These dangerous hives, coupled with imported life from other worlds like Tetuanis stikkabugs or Vitcun's Malariflies add to the danger, but ensure regiments or units that can survive and defeat these Xenos are ready to defend humanity. Most regiments of Guard will not train on Kasabian (or the other training world, Jackson Pits), training on their own worlds, but some worlds send their newly founded regiments to Kasabian for training (generally worlds known for their skilled regiments) or Militarum command will assign a regiment to train when they're rotated off a front or awaiting reinforcement or refounding.
