Overview

Named after the disillusioned noble that founded it, Leria's vision is a smaller agriworld in the Confedus subsector.

Founding

Settled by Leria Lochterstiken Thurales Humpending Von Remos who was a daughter of the Von Remos noble line, who still millenia later occupy a place in the upper echelon of Tetuanis society, grew tired of the trappings and life in a hive world, and even the more luxurious life Tetuanis offered it's more well-to-do citizens could not suffice for Leria. Causing trouble for the Von Remos family when she would use the 3rd auxiliary salad fork to eat the 2nd course pre-appetizer, or other rebellious acts like using only the first two names when addressing other nobles, Leria was soon cast out with a small ship and sympathetic house servants, along with menials who were shanghaied to serve as her crew. Her guncutter ship lacked a warp drive, and she was forced to pay for passage out of Tetuanis with the little money she had left, chartering voyage to a recently charted world she had overheard an adept discussing in one of the many meetings the Von Remos attended, and set her mind on creating a new world that was less populated and less dense. Eventually they arrived to the world that would be soon known as Leria's vision, where they set to work building the trappings of a simple colony that over time grew to support a small population, one that had plenty of land, fresh air, and little worry. Without the juvenat treatments afforded to nobles, Leria eventually passed of old age, content she had carved out a peaceful place for like minded individuals.

Repurposing

The peaceful agrarian world would not last, as Leria was technically still of the Von Remos line and although she had no contact with her family since her exile, the governorship of Leria's Vision passed to the head of the Von Remos bloodline. Seeing the untapped economic potential of Leria's vision, Count Oglethorpe Ryunius Thurales Humpending Von Remos quickly moved to resettle hordes of menials to the world, and struck an agreement with Mechanicus representatives to exploit the world in exchange for labor and human resources. Almost overnight, Leria's once expansive meadows and comfortable villages were reshaped into massive agridomes and communal habblocks designed to maximize space and efficiency, destroying the once quaint world and turning it into another Imperial resource machine. Today the world is covered in dreary polluted badlands with dried river beds, interspersed with giant metal agridomes and habitation tenements. These agridomes vary in size, from a small tank sized dome, to a massive dome that could fit a ship - all sized according to the needs of the crops, and fed by the former free flowing rivers of the world.
