Overview

The only forge world in Makerus, Kappa Thracian Prime is shrouded in mystery and enigma as only those affiliated with the Adeptus Mechanicus are allowed on world. The only individuals not part of the Mechanicus to visit in recorded history were Inquisitors invited to assist in investigations, though there are no records of what they saw. Kappa Thracian Prime is protected from orbital auspex scans through arcane technology, with the world covered in a dense fog. For all its mystery, the world has never missed a delivery of its production requirements though the charter captains responsible for transporting the goods must dock at the orbital station around Kappa Thracian Prime's moon where the goods are loaded by hordes of servitors. The Imperium as a whole is satisfied as long as the critical production of weapons, ammunition, and others isn't interrupted, though occasionally an overzealous Inquisitor attempts to investigate the world - though they quickly learn the Mechanicus does not welcome them as their voyage is beset by constant mechanical issues, or sudden radstorms prevent landing on the world (at the same time the Inquisitor receives a missive from the Conclave to return for immediate debriefing, which always turns out to have been due to an unhappy machine spirit somewhere in the Conclave versus an actual summons).

What actually lies on Kappa Thracian Prime only the priesthood of Filimars could say, though Inquisitorial adepts believe heretek is unlikely given Filimars dogmatic approach. Rumors abound, spread by both charter captain crews or Filimars's rival forge worlds that the world is either protecting dangerous archeotech, or relics from the dark age of technology, or even abominable intelligence. Others say the world is merely taking as many defensive measures as it can, as it is a prime target for the Rotbelchers due to it's part in supplying the Crimson Bulwark with more advanced technology they themselves cannot produce in their artisan forges. Unique among the subservient forge worlds under Filimars, Kappa Thracian Prime has its own Ark Mechanicus and attendant fleet, one that rarely ventures out of the system.
