Overview

An ocean world, Bagunuur is an Agri-world with no above sea land masses. Operating from cities built upon coral reefs or underwater hills, the population of Bagunuur farm the Plangae- a native mutualistic algae that attracts and hosts large plankton colonies and when rendered down provide a nutritious, if fishy tasting, meal. The Plangae aquafarms stretch as far as the eye can see, and are merely a chain of floating and anchored platforms in which farmers walk along and pull out any ready crop. This is not without risk however, as both the hermit-scabs and jellyeels have acquired a taste for human and both being dangerous in their own manner. Hermit-scabs live in tightly clustered colonies that feed off any fish that try to eat the Plangae, and if harvested by a careless farmer they quickly swarm out of the Plangae and dig into unlucky limbs, eating a bona fide feast before their target either hacks off the infected appendages or the hermit-scabs eat a vital organ. For survivors of minor attacks, the holes left by their burrowing has ensured they keep their name. Jellyeels are likewise lethally dangerous, floating through the ocean and occasionally getting tangled in Plangae crops - when accidentally harvested they unleash a brutal electrical sting that can arc between multiple people, electrocuting them all. The Plangae crop must continue to be harvested to meet the ever increasing demands of Eternum, though Bagunuur's tithe is not limited to produce. Bagunuur is expected to provide Guard regiments regularly, and the Bagun Maritime Skirmisher Regiments have proven incredibly effective in amphibious operations owing to their world's dominant ocean, though they're less effective outside of amphibious environments they still have proven themselves well when required.
