A station found in the void of Richmon, Minerus Centrus serves as both a key shipyard for Filimars and as a trading hub for all manner of commerce found in the Imperium.

Overview

Originally known as Mu Nu Rho Central, Minerus Centrus started as a large shipyard under the jurisdiction of Filimars, but over time grew into a massive shipping and logistics hub frequented by charter vessel crews, miners, Rogue Traders, and procurers. The station has grown significantly, with new wings being forged from the mining outposts that dot the moon Minerus Centrus orbits, constantly being added as storage and production capacity is needed and the population continues to grow through immigrants hoping to secure a better life. The shipyard still forms the core, but the myriad of shops, homes, warehouses, factories and more are spread out in a disorganized fashion, the result of rapid growth and Filimars not caring for anything not directly contributing to the shipyard. This has led to Minerus Centrus having a reputation as a dangerous place with no real central authority, a reputation that holds true even after the Ludoy Cartel of Bellerophon carved the role of stationmaster out. The stationmaster is little more than a bandit king who has claimed everything not directly owned by Filimars, with laws enforced to the benefit of the Ludoys first and foremost. A protection fee is levied against all who aren't part of the cartel, with failure to pay at best resulting in property destruction and at worst murder. Still, the people who live on Minerus Centrus enjoy the relatively stable station so long as they don't cross the powerful cartels.

In the large swathes of the station ignored by the cartel enforcers responsible for maintaining Ludoy's peace, citizens often take it upon themselves to protect their homes and shops from the criminals that roam the corridors, forming vigilante groups and habblock patrols. Filimars naturally turns a blind eye to everything outside their domain, and as long as the Ludoys ensure the supplies, menials, and raw materials from metals to future servitors, the cartel is free to continue their reign. The Ecclesiarchy priests who minister Minerus Centrus have beseeched the Sisters of the Order of the Purple Communion for help in removing the criminal and oft borderline heretical elements that control the station, but the stranglehold Bellerophon's cartels have on Eternum's trade have prevented an Inquisitorial approval for a mission thus far, but the dawning of The Second Poxwar has challenged this long standing arrangement. The stations close proximity to ork space has also seen them come under more and more frequent ork raids, so far repelled by the Cartel's enforcers and Filimars's guns, but occasionally an ork kommando squad is able to sneak in and cause havoc before often absconding with stolen parts requested by the Mekboys of Mekkadakkastan.
