Gorkanmorkan
Gorkanmorkan is odd region of Arkamedes that has long existed, but defied classification beyond anything other than an anomaly currently controlled by the Orks, though it long predates them.
Overview
Comprised of massive white stone statues that are made in the image of some unknown species, the place now called Gorkanmorkan had floated frozen in the void, unmoving for millennia and was avoided by travelers when Arkamedes was controlled by the Imperium. The Orks who overran Arkamedes had no such qualms, and they quickly converted each statue to an effigy of Gork or Mork, an action that caused a mysterious rift to open at the central point of the statue's many eyed gaze. The portal still stands open, and unbeknownst to the Imperium, the Orks heedless of the potential danger powered through the rift and found themselves in the New Worlds of Kalibras amongst Chaos held worlds. These Orks began attacking indiscriminately, leading Dakkasaur to split his forces between the Iron Gate, New Worlds, and The Nullzone, all to find the best fight. The forces of Chaos have not taken this lying down, and several offensives have managed to occasionally make inways to ork held worlds in Arkamedes, the most notable being the daemon invasion of Mekkadakkastan.
