== Overview ==
A forge world servile to [[Filimars]] proper Filimars Quartarius suffers extreme radstorms and electrical hurricanes that endanger even the enhanced Magi of the Mechanicus, thus Quartarius's forges and living quarters lie deep beneath the surface, building down instead of up. The only surface structures are shielded landing pads built on top of mountains, and even they are only usable when weather permits. This climate prevented Filimars Quartarius from achieving the heights of its master, but it nonetheless has proven an integral component in Filimars Quest for Knowledge as deep within its labyrinthine complexes lie rare STC fragments. The planet suffered greatly during the Horus Heresy and thus whole forges were cutoff, waiting to be discovered by the Mechanicus expeditions that map the lost corridors, often waiting nearby actively running facilities hidden behind collapsed passageways. This, combined with Quartarius's solid production, ensure the Fabricator Locii that oversees the world is well respected by Filimars Fabricator General.
