== Overview ==
A world that was mapped long ago when [[Arkamedes]] was still Imperial, Oystus remains a forbidden world that appears on maps of the [[The Nullzone|Nullzone]]. Oystus appeared a perfect world to Imperial explorers, with a pleasant temperate climate, plentiful animals, and fresh water, though the colonization missions sent failed. Unbeknownst to the Imperium Oystus was a maiden world claimed by the cryptic Eldar, who viewed the colonists as invaders and dealt with them quickly and decisively. The repeated issues settling what should be an ideal world led Arkamedes to prepare an exploratory expedition force to investigate assumed xenos raiders, though the Green Kroosade's rise prevented the expedition. Oystus was declared a forbidden world at the behest of the [[Eternum Conclave Sector Headquarters|Eternum Conclave]], who sought to help mitigate the occasional colonists ship traveling to settle Oystus from disappearing in the Nullzone, a classification that has remained in place.
