Below them lies a planet locked in perpetual containment: sealed hive cities, closed void ports, and untouched defense lines, all entombing whatever outbreak was deemed too dangerous to eradicate.
Remote augar scans from deep space observatory platforms show movement inside the cities. The platforms have not fired in centuries. For a reason that can only carry ill tidings for the Imperium, the Inquisition members aware of the planet can only speculate why after millennia in Quarantua's state the [[Rotbelchers]] have not invaded, or why they are content with whatever stirs under void shields on the planet.
