Overview

The most productive agriworld in Confedus, Identur serves as a critical breadbasket that supplies the endless human tide on the sector's hiveworlds with sustenance. Due to its low gravity and smaller size compared to average agriworld, Identur's crops are grown in massive Greentowers, massive hydroponic greenhouses stacked miles high, with sunlight provided by massive mirror-tubes that ensure every level receives enough light to grow. Space is at a premium on Identur, as a result the indentured servants that harvest the crops live inside the greenhouses, forming Crop-Tribes that live and grow along with their assigned crops. Ironically, though they're indentured farmers, they benefit from access to fresh air, crop-grade water and sunlight that only the richest nobles enjoy on other worlds, though they constantly toil to harvest, prepare, package, and ship off their harvest.

The leaders of each crop-tribe overseer their greenhouses from its mirror relay, the room that contains the massive mirrors that capture and redirect light for their crops, with the nobility overseeing the highest mirror relays with the largest or most plentiful greenhouses or even whole green towers. The world is covered in these Greentowers, and to the untrained eye it appears Identur is a hive world due to massive spires, but outside the Greentowers Identur is a dark and gloomy world, tinted by millennia of runoff pollution and aggressive farming, the only life that can survive outside the Greentowers for any extended period of time are servitors, or the PDF Patrols that wear rebreathers. The only structures outside the Greentowers are the star ports that constantly ship packaged food out, and the massive conduits, pipework, and maintenance towers that support the Greentowers. As a crucial agriworld, Identur's only tithe is constant crops, with no individuals of note ever appearing due to its relative peace and regimented life.
