Monstrous Creature
From Eternum McEdition
Monstrous Creatures are towering behemoths of the battlefield, capable of unleashing immense firepower and crushing their foes in close combat.
Special Rules: A Monstrous Creature has the following special rules: [Fear], [Hammer of Wrath], [Move Through Cover], [Relentless], and [Smash].
Shooting
- A Monstrous Creature can fire all of its ranged weapons in the same Shooting phase, even if they are different types.
- All weapons must target the same enemy unit.
- They are too ferocious or single-minded to Go to Ground.
Monstrous Rampage
At the end of your Charge Phase, one Monstrous Creature from your army may perform one of the following actions. (You may only use one Rampage per turn, regardless of how many units you have).
- Stomp: Make 2D6 automatic hits at Strength: User, AP: - against an enemy unit it is in base contact with.
- Titanic Duel: When targeting an enemy Monstrous Creature or Vehicle in the ensuing Fight phase, this model gains +1 Weapon Skill and D3 extra Attacks.
- Demolish: Target a building or ruin within 1". Roll a D6; on a 4+, it is demolished. Any unit inside suffers a dangerous terrain test, and the terrain feature no longer provides cover.
Massive Target (Vulnerability)
The sheer size of a Monstrous Creature makes high-strength weaponry particularly devastating.
- When a Monstrous Creature fails an armour or invulnerable save against a wound:
- It suffers 2 wounds if the attack's Strength is 2 or more points higher than its Toughness.
- It suffers 3 wounds if the attack's Strength is 4 or more points higher than its Toughness.
