Overview

A more standard agriworld, Sainshad is responsible for feeding Landeni and a substantial tithe. Sainshad has grown to be linked to Landeni in many respects, and hordes of Landeni born are imported en masse to work the rest of their lives paying off their debts to the agrigiants of Landeni. These Landeni corporations provide the appointed governor of the world, with Khellogs, Nescaff, and Biotechnica splitting the world into spheres of influence. Agriculture is fertilizer heavy, and Sainshad is far from a pleasant place to be for those consigned to work there, either being born into debt slavery or forced to work to pay off an unpayable debt. Planetary corporations charge workers for their tools and other neccesities to work and live, and very few workers can save enough Thrones to put any towards their excessive loan's principal. Almost all who work on Sainshad, will die on Sainshad, and the lack of hope results in occasional discontent and rebellions.
