Overview

A portent of doom, PX-666, commonly called God's Mistake in low gothic, has plagued the Eternum sector since the earliest recorded days. Appearing with no forewarning above a world systems away, PX-666 brings with it an increase in psyker births, increased psychic awakenings, an increase in violence, and increased suicides. Although defying all logical explanation, the star rarely appears but when it does it is as if a star was stretched out and hollowed out, with a darkness blacker than the darkest paint staring in the center. Visits are followed by scores of suicides, as its said glimpsing into the void of its center shows you the truth of existence. Inquisitorial researchers have been unable to confirm or deny this, and while the star has been observed in what is believed to be its native system it appears to be only a dying star being eaten by a black hole. While rare, any appearance of the star results in quick suppression by Inquisitorial and planetary authorities and the deployment of all available Imperial assets to mitigate damages caused by its appearance. Research continues into the exact nature of the system.
