The final resting place of those from Caligulas, especially Landeni, who were notable enough to avoid reprocessing, Respite is a surprisingly well populated world for a cemetery world. Eschewing machinery planet-side, a custom that assuredly rose from the colonists rejection of Landeni's culture, all work and burials are done by human effort alone, owing to ancient practices passed down century after century. Scores of individuals who saved up enough thrones to buy a proper burial find their final rest here, avoiding the normal fate of the destitute on Landeni - corpse repurposing to create servitor assistants for the corporate and cartel elite. Unbeknownst to the Imperium, darker things stir deep within the Catacombs, for here the light of the Emperor doesn't shine on the xenos cults that hide in the shadows and the tyranny of the masses of Landeni drives many to fester discontent.
