Overview

One of many worlds lost in the First Poxwar, Xchotl is only notable for its continued defiance of the Rotbelchers in absence of Imperial support. Stuck miles underground in large bunker complexes, the inhabitants of Xchotl continue to survive despite the surface being so choked with chemical agents that even Nurgle's minions cannot survive it long. Powered through archeotech and lethal scavenging, Xchotls meager remnants still remain in their protective bunkers awaiting Imperial reinforcements. The centuries alone has morphed this into a religious prophecy, where the God Emperor himself will save the faithful and personally escort them to the surface. The reality is far different, as the Imperium's intermittent contact at best, along with weariness of the veracity of any voxes originating from Putrilocus, likely will lead to, if the Imperium can ever gain a foothold, the world at best being isolated and at worst being destroyed. For their part, Nurgle's minions encourage decay and disease in the bunkers, hoping to turn the survivors against each other.
