Overview

Once a thriving mining world with a large population protected from the void by the atmosphere generated by a large atmospheric thermoregulator, Xononn now exists as a primarily servitor mining planet subservient to Filimars. The event that would lead to this massive change was instigated by a Kommando raid led by one of Dakkasaur's more powerful weird boyz, who led the Ork raid. The weird boy, Chrome Dome, led the Kommandoz to seek out the 'blingy hotbit' that he believed made his head hurt, and the ork raid snuck into the unsuspecting mining world's atmospheric regulator complex successfully. Though the PDF protecting the complex discovered them, the Orks fought through the ill prepared defenders and eventually came to the blingy hotbit, removing it and handing it to Chrome Dome for inspection. Chrome Dome, whose visions had actually been caused by his rival weird boy 'Mindfreaka', savored his victory in removing the central regulator cogitator for a few seconds before the atmosphere rapidly collapsed, sucking the orks and Chrome Dome, along with cowering tech-priests, into the rapidly growing void.

Xononn was rapidly exposed to the void, killing million in an instant with only a lucky few who had already been in voidships surviving. Although an investigation by the Ordos Xenos ensued, Filimars did not wait to move in and staff the mines with servitors and other menials under their command. The Ordos Xenos agreed with Filimars's assessment that Orks were solely to blame, and the few nobles who spoke out that the incredibly dangerous single point of failure had been dismissed previously by Filimars disappeared shortly after attempting to reveal evidence they claim showed the forge world knew the raid their sensors allegedly picked up would purge the world and that Filimars allowed it to happen to gain more resources. Since the forge world took stewardship of the world, Xononn has continued mining operations, with only the mines and required spaceports habitable, overlooking the masses of dead frozen in the void within nearby cities, left untouched for many years.
