Overview
The restored birthworld of Saint Ariette Bazil, New Cathedrus was the civilized world once named Cadark where the same Saint began her crusade long before even the First Poxwar. The enemy fleet made up of heretics, misguided captains, and other parties that made up the Gafrey Schism's forces retaliated harshly when her pilgrim fleet left to free another world in Caligulas, bombarding Cadark until naught was left but rubble. Once the ringleaders of the disastrous Gafrey Schism were defeated and the Holy Reconciler Crusade completed, the Ecclesiarchy and Imperial forces rebuilt Cadark, renaming it New Cathedrus after Cathedrus, the town where Ariette Bazil began her crusade. The world was rebuilt as a series of Cathedral Mausoleums separated by large agrifields tended to by the pious, each Cathedral Mausoleum holding different martyrs of the Saint's crusade. Though the world lacks significant economic value, it remains a significant spiritual center for Eternum in addition to its contribution to the Imperial Guard. New Cathedrus's Judgement Concilitors have proven excellent unbreakable line troops, though they will defer to Ecclesiastical elements over proper Militarum command should a conflict arise.
