Overview
A world that has suffered greatly in the wars and schisms of the sector, most once super populated hive cities now lie in labyrinthine ruins, with only three remaining intact on Mozka Hive. The same warhost who attacked Saint Bazil also contributed to the ruin of Mozka, which further suffered several Ecclesiastical schisms and civil wars leading to its current state. Mozka is attended by the Order of the Last Candle since the last war that left it in its current state, and the Order has placed a blessed candle in each remaining void shield temple. The Order believes so long as the hives remain faithful, the candle will burn and the Emperor will protect the hive-city from ruin, but if they falter and the candle is snuffed, His gaze will turn away from the spires. The upper echelon of society, along with the faithful found amongst the hive rabble, believe the Order's declaration wholeheartedly, and the Schola Progeniums on Mozka are full of the orphans of Mozkains that died in the Emperor's name. Not all think Mozka has suffered enough, and in the underbelly of Maltus Ultima heresy festers, biding time until they can amass enough power to threaten the Sororitas that protect the world.
