Overview
A once, mostly pleasant, world used for its adamantine mines and promethium deposits, Obellius suffered a calamity the source of which is unknown, when its parent star disappeared suddenly. The world was plunged into cold darkness and the only source of warmth were the promethium fueled fires. The Administratum, not wanting to lose a productive world, called on old favors with the Mechanicus to help stabilize the planet. The planet's Electrodynamic Cenobium was augmented with supercharged plasma thermoregulators, and the world was warmed enough to avoid a fate of being instantly lethal, though Obellius would stay a frigid planet with the only light being lumenglobes and the glow of the thermoregulators that cross the world. Obellius has continued to produce resources for the Imperium, though the darkness weighs down the population with revolts and heresy growing since the loss of the sun.
