Overview

A massive lifeless mining world, Reff is best known for its massive unique craters - unlike normal craters, there is no ejecta, just a perfect spherical half. Theories abound on what caused this, with the official explanation being adamantine meteors, though well-learned individuals doubt that. The archmagi of Eternum and Inquisitors believe it was actually caused by a bombardment of some sort of large warp bomb akin to a supersized vortex missile, carving chunks out of the world and teleporting them to the Emyprium, though any records that could confirm this are kept deep in Remiticulum. The miners constantly toil to mine the craters out, kept safe from the void in scattered mining bases, though rumors of strange activity, missing persons, and other activities that reek of the warp are common enough to result in the odd Ordo Hereticus investigation, nothing concrete has been found thus far but the more psychically gifted believe the warp touched craters are likely tied to it, possibly a remnant of whatever terrible weapon was used.
