Overview
The closest Richmon world to Kalibras, Sharyngor has been the site of multiple brutal civil wars fought over the different lineages claiming the title of Sharynking. Sharyngor has a lower level of technology compared to other non-Feudal agri-worlds, and the lack of advanced farming technology has created a cultural tradition of massive families. These families, large enough that each individual averages twenty siblings, are tied to a parcel of land in a serf-like fashion and families work the same plot of land their ancestors worked, with their farm only growing through political marriages or inheritance from relatives. This extends to the nobles of Sharyngor, and over millennia of this practice continuing the amount of individuals who have some claim to the throne has risen to an average of five thousand individuals, all related to some degree.
Although they may want to consolidate their family to ensure their direct line continues to rule, Kings must maintain large families lest they give extra ammunition to a pretender of the throne by discarding Sharyngor's core cultural trait. The large amount of prospective pretenders results in an almost revolving door of civil wars, some fought by a characteristic individual who believes its their divine right to rule, some who chase power and ambition, and some who fall prey to foriegn traders bribes and fight for greed. The massive web of family ties means aspirants to the world's throne can always summon manpower to back their cause, and the massive population of Sharyngor ensures that even with the staggering loss of life these wars bring the world can continue to farm and fight. Sharyngor's weapons technology is not as deprecated as their agricultural methods, and tanks, simple atmospheric aircraft, and lasgun wielding troops moving through the world's many crop fields are a common sight. Eternum's nobility's view ranges from lamenting the loss of so many potential soldiers or workers to exciting betting on a certain faction during a particularly pitched civil war, though any direct intervention is unlikely as Sharyngor has consistently maintained its tithe obligations to the Imperium proper. The excess population also provides solid fodder for the Imperial Guard, and massive amounts of Sharyngor Kinwarriors line infantry regiments are frequently found on the Gate worlds and other battle zones across Eternum.
