Overview

A simplistic Agri-world in Eternum, Greenleaf is able to meet production quotas not through massive agrispires, domes, or hyper aggressive fertilizers but instead through its massive size. Greenleaf is a rare world, large enough to fit multiple Terras inside, an atmosphere that is not dense, and a planetary average density that results in a lower total mass and gravitational pull that are normally found on massive planets. Greenleaf has a higher gravity than more average worlds, but not enough to result in significant deviations from the baseline human form like the high gravity worlds ogryns call home. This elevated gravity does result in stronger than average inhabitants, and even the crops have thicker roots, stems, fruit, and bodies to help support themselves. This has resulted in higher output than would normally be found with more simple farming methods, and allows Greenleaf to produce more than enough food to meet its tithe.

The Genators of the Mechanicus have also abstained from the more intense farming methods found on other agriworlds, as the chemical runoff and pollution could easily tip Greenleaf's atmosphere into an unrecoverable state, thus the people are free to continue their traditional farming. Greenleaf does not have many cities, with most population spread out in towns that serve nearby fields, the only true 'city' is Greenleaf's capital Dusbol. Dusbol is the primary spaceport and railhub for Greenleaf, and trains are constantly entering and leaving to drop off produce before returning to visiting each town to gather their crop. Most travel and shipping on Greenleaf is done through the well developed global rail network, as the size of Greenleaf makes air travel or road travel expensive and time consuming. As a result of this, most towns are linked by dirt or gravel roads, relying on trains for news or goods. The more developed towns may have rockcrete roads, though this is rare. Greenleaf's tithe is primarily agricultural, but they are expected to provide spare manpower for Guard regiments, with the Greenleaf 'Bruisers' well known for easily hefting heavy weapons that require teams in other regiments.
