Overview

The recently settled world of FW-426 now known as Newt's Warning after the only survivor of the original colonists is a stormy, craggy, frontier world. The original colonists, settled in the optimistically named Hadley's Hope, disappeared without a trace, though the Imperial Guard sent to investigate the sole barely audible distress call found evidence of fighting and only one survivor, Newt. The Guard tried to gather more information from her but was unsuccessful, with her running into the maze of vents that covered Hadley's Hope. FW-426 was swept for any signs of hostiles, though outside of evidence of fighting nothing was found, nor was there any sign of Newt. Receiving the safe signal, the Administratum dispatched the next batch of colonists to continue the colonization of the world, with the new settlers renaming the planet Newt's Warning and believing the planet is cursed. The colonists have banded together and formed a newer defense force, which has proven effective at preventing another attack, though the Administratum has launched an investigation into the constant requests for mining equipment and simple weaponry replacements Newt's Warning lodges.
