Overview

An uncharted system, the PX-493 is home to a particularly small star, almost unnoticeable from a distance save for the minor heat emissions. Although it's unknown who built it, the star has a massive station built around it that the Dark Mechanicus has claimed as their own. Taking advantage of the ignorance of the system's only habitable planet, the Dark Mechanicus demand materials from its inhabitants and impersonate a god, diverting light from the star to the planet to keep it livable, but taking away light when they need more materials or 'pilgrims'. The Heretek Dominatus that leads the Talking Star also demands the fittest of their worshipers to board the supply ships that arrive for raw materials mines by the planet. The pilgrims believe they will meet their God, and unfortunately, they're right. More servitors and sacrifices are always needed as the Hereteks manufacture twisted demonic machines, selling their services to the nearby traitor warbands.
