Overview

Tuktuk is an ideal stop for charter captains to the dismay of their crew, as while Tuktuk's resources are always ready for pickup without issue, the people are merely drones in Tuktuk's human hive. Under the generations of leadership under the Chairman, an appointed position that Sheng-ji Yang has ruled from for centuries, Tuktuk's citizenry has surrendered individuality for their shared goal of a societal organism, each human merely a cell of the greater society. Following edicts from the Capital, the hive-complex Seat of Greater Thought, every citizen's life is meticulously planned out, from the allocation creche to their end in the recycling tanks, with any who deviate in the slightest from their preprogrammed fate spending as much time in the punishment sphere as it takes to eliminate any individuality. Tuktuk is not a stagnant society, as more human hives are built, mines harvested, and temples built, and they have consistently delivered their tithe and have strictly structured meditation time at Imperial temples. This societal structure causes issues with individuals who leave the world for whatever reason, and Tuktukens often struggle more than a feral worlder when faced with the far more individually minded throughout the sector.
