A decadent world that has long since abandoned any sense of decency or virtue, Weermire caters to the more depraved nobility of the sector. The world's natural beauty is just a backdrop to the disgusting acts that border on the heretical that take place in its many brothels and gentlemen clubs, with the PDF serving more as bouncers versus defenders. Any kind of carnal pleasure can be found in Weermire, from torture to snuff, and the nobility are well aware of this. The more puritan nobles belonging to more faithful worlds avoid associating with the individuals who serve or are served on Weermire, though even the occasional Cardinal indulges their baser desires here. Weermire is a world that unknowingly teeters on the edge of oblivion, for deep in its secret societies devoted to excesses of pleasure lie true heretics of the Dark Prince of Excess who have maneuvered to control the government and influence the decadent nobles who partake in Weermire's excesses. The Inquisition, at the request of the Order of the Purple Communion, have begun investigating Weermire, though so far the carnal cults have escaped notice. The planetary governor and his fellow corrupted cronies has attempted to interfere with the investigation successfully over the last centuries, though it remains to be seen if they'll fully commit themselves to heresy to protect their secrets. Were the Inquisition to discover how deep the rot runs, Weermire could very well find itself the first pleasure world to be cleansed and purged in Eternum's recorded history.
