Overview
An isolated world in Kalibras, Zephyr-VI possesses a unique environment where large chunks of supercharged magnetic rocks are repelled off the surface and slowly drift through the atmosphere. Zephyr-VI's surface is dangerous to breathe and far too dense to support permanent settlement, thus the original colonists settled the floating islands instead. Although safe, breathable, and with plenty of food and water, these island's magnetic interactions with the planet wrecked havoc with any technology and thus the people lost their technical edge and had to rely on simpler means. Over millennia this has resulted in Zephyr-VI becoming a feudal world, and the floating islands have been fortified to become floating castles, with which the people make war with whenever the air and magnetic currents bring two islands close together. Society has stabilized since the Imperium remade contact however, and now the airship's magnetic sails are used to bring the planet's tithe to Aeolus, the largest island and effective capital of Zephyr-VI. The difficulty in collecting the tithe from such a polarized world required assistance from the Mechanicus, and thus a portion of the ore and manpower tithe is set aside for Filimars. Owing to this, Zephyr-VI has no notable Guard contribution but Zephyrians can be found in many forge worlds as raw manpower for the constantly toiling forges.
