Overview
A world unclaimed by any significant power, Larback broke from the Imperium during the expansion of the Phobox Anomaly when Chaos forces landed on the world and slaughtered any who resisted. The remainder of the planet fractured into different heretical cults and bands, and the once civilized world is awash in heresy and strife. Lacking in value other than its position close to Imperial space, Larback will occasionally host a raiding force set on attacking Kalibras's Old Worlds, but more often than not pirates and other minor bands of renegades are all that visit the blackened and desolated cities of Larback. Xenos raids also occasionally target Larback owing to its weak organized resistance, and though the Imperium could likely take the world back before stronger forces of Chaos respond, holding the world would require a proper Crusade to stymie the tide of the myriad of traitor forces found in the New Worlds.
