Overview
Named for the notorious pirate whose fleet had been based out of the dead world, and who finally met his demise at Battlefleet Kalibras's macrocannon volleys, Gullivan's Rest is a void exposed grey-black mottled moon over the only gas giant in the Privaser system. Besides the corpses of starships the logistical outpost KOW-56A occasionally serves as a refuel and resupply point for Battlefleet Kalibras's patrols of the subsector, though it is a dingy ill maintained post staffed with dregs who offended the wrong officer at some point in their career. KOW-56A's discontentment has led to their use as a stopping point for numerous Kalibras pirates or renegades, who for the right price can find a safe berth to hideout for a time. Gullivan's Rest's proximity to Yeomen's Port has afforded it business from the motley collection of travelers who fly in the area, and several caches are hidden away on the dead moon awaiting their master's return.
