Overview
Formerly a very large asteroid that was mined to depletion by a very bold mining conglomerate, the asteroid was found to sit on a smaller warp lane out of the Bubonic Rift by Inquisitorial investigators who arrived in search of reported strikers. Imperial crews quickly cleared out the miners that had been left behind by the conglomerate and set to work fortifying the former mining station and tunnels. Sector Militarum command intended the fortress be staffed by Guardsmen when completed, however surprisingly the Crimson Bulwark laid claim to the fortress, which Militarum command was more than happy to cede. The Bulwark finished construction to their specifications, and currently Triumph hosts several squads from 6th and 7th Companies, along with throngs of chapter serfs. Triumph is the last Imperial stop before entering Putrilocus space, and serves the chapter well when they launch targeted strikes in the subsector.
