Overview

The world now only known by the Ork name Greenizbestica was once a mining world famed for its native and widespread metal Emeraldine, a green metal that had great strength and was prized for high end power swords and other weaponry for the nobles. Emeraldine was mined under large atmospheric domes that protected miners from the naturally atmospheric world, a fact the Orks of the Green Kroosade ignored during their invasion. Expecting a great fight on such a green world, ork ships crashed through the domes before disgorging their troops directly into the now-void exposed complexes. Without an atmosphere, both the orks and the Imperial miners quickly died leaving a dead world. Ork ships carrying out missions paid for by teef occasionally visit the planet to gather Emeraldine lying on the surface, though no permanent settlements have been established since the world fell.
