Overview

A mining world so utterly exploited it is more aptly a series of connected asteroids rather than a proper planet, Dynacor was effectively hollowed out by archeotech, its atmosphere stripped long ago, and now the massive world is serviced by voidcraft that fly directly into the giant holes drilled into her where they dock with the mining operations salvaging anything of value that hasn't already been mined. The main segments of the world are connected by access tubes, but most traffic is void based. Each segment has it's own space dock for craft to dock and pick up material, though services and accommodations vary wildly based off the importance of the section, the most mineral rich chunk being the capital and main producer. Dynacor is expected to provide large amounts of material for its tithe, though it also required to contribute Guard regiments (which are generally raised from sections that have completely exhausted any remaining resources). Most segments have an artificial atmosphere, with it extending through they mining tunnels that constantly grow, with only the smallest relying solely on self contained mining suits. Even the more wealthy mining segments are at risk of blowouts however, where the mining tunnel breaks out to the void, sucking atmosphere and unlucky miners to their death. This omnipresent risk does not deter mining efforts however, and these casualties are just a price to pay to deplete the dying world's remaining resources.
