Overview

A odd mining world, Tink's population is concentrated over the sole mine complex found on world. Habitation blocks sit under Tink's dome, filled with miners and civilians working industries that support the minor's needs. Tink is home to a massive Flogiston vein that snakes deep into the planet, but is only easily reached by the central mine. Having access to masses of Flogiston and the wealth exporting it grants the small populace, Tink's citizens are technical skilled and have a reputation in Eternum for being technological experts that are willing to make leaps the Mechanicus is not. Tink's most skilled individuals, commonly termed Tinkerers, can often be found in the employ of a Rogue Trader who appreciates their skills, or a less puritanical Inquisitor who is willing to roll the dice and enhance their own gear. The Mechanicus of Filimars views this as dangerous Tech-Heresy, but the small population of Tink coupled with the importance of Flogiston limits the extent of any tech-heresy purges. The more well known Tinkerers are protected by their patrons among the Rogue Traders and Inquisitors of the sector, though every now and then their designs go too far and invite anything from daemonic scrap code to full on possession.
