Overview
Originally the primary defensive fortress and staging ground of the Imperium during the First Poxwar, Fort Aurales is a shadow of its former self as Imperial forces shifted to the Aural Gate. Although the fortress world still stands, it is chronically undermanned and serves more as a resupply point and training ground for forces heading to the front. That's not to say the Fortress is entirely neutered, as even in its current state it could bog down an enemy force, and it still serves as a fallback point were the Imperium forced off the Aural Gate. Fort Aurales has a smaller native population compared to other fortress worlds like Fopet, but nonetheless contributes manpower to the Imperium.
