Overview

Although far from Filimars, Yombethes caught the attention of the forge world long ago as the original colonists had brought a sizable contingent of Imperial Knights. Although their society and technology regressed significantly owing to Yombothes's precarious position in the Shattered Worlds belt, the Knight maintenance rites were passed down and turned into large ritual ceremonies. The frequent pirate, renegade, xenos, and other raids against Yombothes had taken their toll on the Knight defenders, and by the time Filimars made contact they had been whittled down to only seventy functioning Knights. Filimars was able to repair many thought unusable Knights, and in return Yombothes pledged fealty to Filimars, an arrangement that benefits both. Knight House Skadi, who also rule Yombothes, can be found anywhere the priests of Filimars have taken an interest, though most are seconded to the Titans that help defend the Aural Gate. Yombothes itself would be a pleasant forest world were it not for the continual raids, though House Skadi's Knights prevent any serious danger. Even with their protection, occasionally a raid wipes, abducts, or burns an outlying village, leading to the planetary governor joining the other worlds near the Shattered Worlds belt in pushing for an Imperial offensive to purge the renegades and xenos that hide in it.
